South Eastern Railway is seeking a Communications Manager to shape how we communicate with external audiences across the Kent route and integrated business. Based in London, you will lead stakeholder engagement, media relations and public affairs, coordinating with teams to protect and enhance the organisation's reputation.

You will develop proactive external campaigns, respond to media inquiries and create engaging content for social channels.

Qualifikationen

• Proven track record in public relations in a high-profile organisation.
• Excellent writing skills and strategic thinking.
• Excellent influencing skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Thorough knowledge of the media and how it operates.

• Lead external stakeholder relationships across multiple routes and ensure feedback is captured.
• Develop and deliver communications strategies and external campaigns for key projects.
• Provide updates on operational developments and feedback to inform decisions.
• Manage communications across media, public affairs and social channels.
• Create engaging content for external channels including social media and video.
• Draft timely responses to media enquiries and tailor messaging for audiences.
• Collaborate with teams to craft compelling external narratives and messaging.
• Represent SE Railway at external meetings and build trusted stakeholder relationships.
