Job summary

Birmingham Children's Trust is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance and Improvement Officer to support their dynamic Team. Based at One Avenue Road, Aston, Birmingham, you will lead quality assurance activities and drive service improvement to protect and promote the welfare of children.

You will monitor compliance with statutory guidance, identify development needs, support practitioners with coaching, and help prepare for Ofsted inspections.

Qualifications

• Experience with quality assurance processes and improvement initiatives.
• Ability to lead audits, case reviews and thematic audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance activities including audits to drive service improvement.
• Monitor compliance with statutory guidance and local authority policies.
• Identify trends and produce reports to improve outcomes for children and families.
• Provide feedback and coaching to managers and practitioners to promote best practice.
• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.

Education

Social Work Qualification – Degree or equivalent
