Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers is seeking a Commercial Manager on a 4‑month contract to act as the key commercial interface between Procurement & Commercial and business stakeholders in London, coordinating a range of sourcing activities.

You will manage multiple sourcing and procurement projects, run tenders, negotiate supplier terms, draft contracts, and drive value for money through benchmarking and cost analysis while sharing best practice within the team.

Qualifications

• Experience negotiating supplier contracts, rates and terms.
• Ability to secure commercial value and manage spend.
• Ability to build strong relationships across business functions.
• Experience working autonomously while handling multiple priorities.
• Experience within a public sector environment.
• CIPS qualification is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Act as the key commercial interface between Procurement & Commercial and business stakeholders.
• Manage multiple sourcing and procurement projects.
• Run tender exercises and single-source procurements.
• Negotiate with suppliers on pricing and terms.
• Draft contracts and support contract template development.
• Deliver value for money via benchmarking, cost analysis and recommendations.
• Maintain sourcing pipelines and ensure procurement data is accurate.
• Share commercial best practice across the wider team.
