Job summary

South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Public Affairs and Stakeholder Engagement Manager to oversee the delivery and ongoing development of the Trust’s public affairs and stakeholder engagement plan. The role involves coordinating communications across stakeholders by boroughs and programmes, and maintaining the Trust and Reputation dashboard.

You will write newsletters and reports, organise and host events, and prepare briefings for external partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in stakeholder engagement and public affairs across complex organisations.
• Ability to write newsletters and reports for diverse audiences.
• Experience in organising and hosting events and briefings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver public affairs, communications and engagement activity to build relationships and trust.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships and develop them proactively.
• Produce regular stakeholder briefings with content coordinated with partners.
• Develop and deliver stakeholder engagement plans for key projects.
• Lead campaigns to improve community engagement and understanding of services.
• Manage enquiries from stakeholders and respond accurately.
