Kudos is a well-established Facilities Management company working within the Healthcare Sector to deliver high-quality Facilities Management services to its clients. We are looking to hire a Strategic Projects & Lifecycle Manager on a full-time basis.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of PFI/PPP contractual frameworks and obligations, 5+ years of proven experience in delivering Hard FM services, ideally within the healthcare sector. You should be able to demonstrate experience managing commercial challenges, including unavailability claims, latent defects, and pay mechanisms, as well as experience in Commercial contracts including JCT and NEC Contracts. A deep understanding of CDM with the ability to implement appropriate checks and balances ensuring adherence to obligations is required.

The Role

You will report to the SLT and have a hands-on role in planning and delivering projects across 35 NHS LIFT sites in the Warrington and London Areas. Your responsibilities include managing the supply chain, ensuring contractual compliance, and aligning the Schedule of Programmed Works (SoPM) with industry standards and contractual obligations.

Building and maintaining relationships will be important, as you will interface regularly with the Kudos operational team and wider stakeholders, acting as a subject matter expert for project-related issues or queries.

Duties & Key Responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Lifecycle Planning: Develop and oversee annual and future lifecycle programs, focusing on strategic alignment of facilities maintenance and enhancements to meet future needs.
  • Major Project Variations: Oversee major variations projects from conception through tendering and delivery, managing stakeholders, financials, contracts, quality, and governance. Ensure smooth handovers to operational teams.
  • Project Oversight: Manage project delivery from planning to completion, ensuring timely, within-budget, and high-quality standards.
  • Supply Chain Management: Build strategic relationships with suppliers and contractors, ensuring cost-effectiveness and contractual compliance.
  • Data and Asset Management: Collaborate with the CAFM Team to maintain accurate facility data, asset information, and warranties.
  • Financial Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and cost recovery for rechargeable works.
