Job summary

Groupe Adéquat UK (GA UK) is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to join our growing PMO team and lead large-scale public sector, infrastructure, estates and construction programmes.

You will own a portfolio of projects, ensure delivery to scope, budget, quality and timescales, and collaborate with senior leadership, clients, contractors and delivery teams to drive performance through governance and reporting.

Qualifications

• Extensive programme or senior project management experience in public sector or infrastructure.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects within a programme structure.
• Strong governance, reporting and risk management experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects within a wider programme framework.
• Ensure programmes meet objectives, budgets, schedules, and quality.
• Embed and maintain governance, reporting, and risk management.
• Build relationships with public sector clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Manage programme-level risks, issues, dependencies, and change controls.
• Coordinate with PMO and delivery teams on resource allocation.
• Monitor performance and report milestones and KPIs to senior stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery and reporting.
