Job summary

NP Aerospace, Ltd. in Coventry is seeking an experienced Production Planner to own the Master Production Schedule and coordinate materials, capacity, and resources across multiple programmes.

You will work with Material Controllers and Production Managers to keep schedules accurate and on time, supporting efficient shop-floor execution. The role offers a 12-month FTC onsite, with a salary of £30,000 - £37,500 per annum, plus discretionary bonuses and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in production planning or supply chain within automotive/defence manufacturing.
• Proficiency with QAD, MRP, or equivalent systems.
• Experience managing Bills of Materials (BoMs) and production schedules.
• Understanding of system integration and configuration management.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple business functions.

Responsibilities

• Own the Master Production Schedule (MPS) consolidating demands into achievable plans.
• Generate and manage Production Works Orders (PWOs) for accurate invoicing and reporting.
• Ensure inbound materials meet production requirements in collaboration with Material Controllers.
• Align manpower and resources with schedule through Production Managers.
• Drive continuous improvement of planning processes and systems.
