Job summary

Right Hire Recruitment is seeking a Production Planning / S&OE Specialist to coordinate production plans and balance demand with capacity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with Production, Operations, Commercial, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to ensure targets are met.

The role requires strong S&OP/MRP knowledge, ERP experience, and excellent analytical and stakeholder-management skills.

Qualifications

Experience in production planning, operations planning or supply chain in manufacturing.
Strong understanding of S&OP, S&OE, MRP and capacity planning.
Experience using ERP/manufacturing planning systems.
Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Proactive approach to managing risks and changing production demands.

Responsibilities

Own and manage rolling production plans covering the next 3–12 weeks.
Translate the S&OP plan into achievable monthly and weekly production requirements.
Balance customer demand against production capacity, labour, materials and supply constraints.
Lead weekly planning reviews, agree priorities and monitor progress against production targets.
Identify potential risks and bottlenecks early, coordinating recovery plans to minimise disruption.
Provide clear priorities and planning parameters to scheduling teams.
Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions where required.
Maintain accurate planning data, reports and operational documentation.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across planning processes, systems and reporting.
