Job summary

Solera Corporation in Leeds is seeking a Product Owner to shape and deliver CAP HPI software and data products across the vehicle lifecycle. You will own the backlog, write epics and acceptance criteria, and prioritise work with stakeholders to maximise value.

The role requires strong agile delivery experience, excellent communication, and collaboration with engineering, QA, UX, analytics and sales teams. Hybrid Leeds-based work model with cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a Product Owner in an agile software environment.
• Ability to translate customer needs into well-structured epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience prioritising work using value, risk, and effort trade-offs with imperfect information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; align diverse stakeholders and explain why and what.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of CAP HPI products, users, personas, journeys and goals.
• Own and continuously refine the product backlog; write clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with Product Management and stakeholders to shape roadmap outcomes and prioritise work.
• Run backlog refinement and support agile ceremonies; ensure scope and intent are clear.
• Collaborate daily with Engineering, QA, UX, Analytics and Support to deliver increments.
• Manage dependencies across teams and address blockers early.
• Support release planning and go-to-market readiness with notes and enablement.
• Use data to validate outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
• Promote strong product practices: definition of ready/done, quality thresholds, debt paydown.
