Job summary

Prinova, a global supplier of ingredients and premix solutions, seeks a Procurement & Supply Planning Manager to lead the Procurement and MRP functions across UK operations. The role focuses on ensuring the right materials are available to support production and meet customer demand, with a strong emphasis on supplier relationships and inventory optimisation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Materials Planning.
• Knowledge of international sourcing, freight forwarding, import/export procedures, and global supply chains.
• Proven experience negotiating supplier contracts and commercial agreements.
• Strong forecasting, inventory planning, and supply planning capability.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and supply planning activities to ensure timely availability of materials and goods.
• Develop sourcing strategies, negotiate supplier agreements, and deliver cost-saving initiatives.
• Build supplier partnerships, monitor performance, and manage supply chain risks with contingency planning.
• Own demand forecasting and MRP processes, aligning supply with customer demand.
• Optimise inventory levels, safety stock, and working capital while maintaining service levels.
• Lead monthly supply planning and S&OP processes with insights for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, regulatory, and governance requirements.
• Produce and analyse procurement and inventory metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and ERP/planning systems.
• Lead, coach and develop the Procurement and Supply Planning team.
