Job summary

Line Up Aviation is recruiting a Procurement Analyst for a 12-month contract (umbrella inside IR35) based in Bristol. The role centers on cost and price analyses, developing negotiation positions, and supporting government and commercial procurement negotiations.

You will lead price analyses, evaluate supplier proposals, and collaborate with Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to drive best value while ensuring compliance with IBAP processes.

Qualifications

• At least five years' experience in a relevant business function such as Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations or Supplier Management.
• UK rights to live and work required; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing analyses of procurement and supplier proposals for RWE and establish a Procurement Finance Analyst capability in the UK, drawing on best practices across the enterprise.
• Develop macroeconomic and microeconomic health metrics across the RWE supply chain, including tracking index performance, FX movements, and legislative impacts.
• Gather and analyse data to evaluate supplier financial performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyse complex supplier proposals to determine fair and reasonable pricing positions.
• Conduct detailed cost and price analyses using statistical tools, market trend data, and parametric models.
• Substantiate cost estimates and lead supplier and customer negotiations.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration across Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Extract and analyse data, preparing reports that measure supplier and internal performance against plan.
• Engage with teams across the wider enterprise to identify best practices and develop processes aligned with the broader organisation.
• Work with Finance to develop material cost-tracking processes and an effective planning cadence for monitoring material expenditure.
• Assess supplier pricing arrangements, including firm and cost-plus models, and advise Procurement on spend profiles.
• Conduct audits of supplier data and systems across financial, operational, proposal and procedural areas.
• Develop estimates using historical data, parametric analysis, and other data sources.
• Support Procurement in developing negotiation strategies delivering best value and placing contracts.
• Assist in bid package creation including supplier source selection and proposal evaluation per IBAP.
• Brief stakeholders on RWE Supply Chain financial performance and develop KPIs.
