Morson Edge is seeking a Procurement Analyst to join our Bristol-based team on an initial 12-month contract to support aerospace clients. This role sits within the Rotary Wing Enterprise (RWE) Supply Chain and aims to establish a Procurement Finance Analyst capability in the UK.

You will collaborate with procurement teams to identify cost efficiencies, develop negotiation positions, and use quantitative methods to support pricing decisions.

Qualificações

• Five years’ experience in a relevant business function (Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, or Supplier Management).
• Experience working with supplier-related data and proposals.

Responsabilidades

• Lead pricing analyses of procurement and supplier proposals for RWE and establish a Procurement Finance Analyst capability in the UK.
• Develop macroeconomic and microeconomic health metrics across the RWE supply chain.
• Gather and analyse data to evaluate supplier financial performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyse complex supplier proposals to determine fair and reasonable pricing positions.
• Conduct detailed cost and price analyses using statistical tools, market trend data, and parametric models.
• Substantiate cost estimates and lead supplier and customer negotiations.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration across Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Extract and analyse data, preparing reports that measure supplier and internal performance against plan.
• Engage with teams across our client’s wider enterprise to identify best practices and develop processes aligned with the broader organisation.
• Work closely with Finance to develop material cost-tracking processes and an effective planning cadence for monitoring material expenditure.
• Assess supplier pricing arrangements, including firm and cost-plus models, and advise Procurement teams on spend profiles.
• Conduct audits of supplier data and systems.
• Develop estimates using historical data, parametric analysis, and other data sources.
• Anticipate and champion organisational change as needs evolve.
• Support Procurement teams in developing negotiation strategies that deliver best value.
• Support the creation of bid packages, including supplier source selection and proposal evaluation.
• Brief stakeholders on RWE Supply Chain financial performance and develop KPIs.
