Job summary

Whitestone Resourcing Limited is recruiting an experienced Procurement Business Partner to support a major UK capital projects and facilities operation, offering a hybrid Solihull-based role with a competitive package.

The role links procurement with operational delivery to ensure best value, supplier performance and compliant contracting across a national portfolio. Strong stakeholder influence and CIPS development are valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' procurement experience within construction, capital projects, engineering, infrastructure, property or FM environments.
• Strong commercial awareness and contract negotiation skills.
• Experience managing complex supplier relationships and strategic sourcing activities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at senior level.
• Knowledge of project procurement and supply chain management.
• CIPS qualification (or working towards) would be advantageous.
• Experience within public sector, construction or large outsourced service environments would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and sourcing activities across capital projects and planned works programmes.
• Drive value for money, operational efficiency and supplier performance improvements.
• Manage tendering processes and competitive procurement exercises.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors.
• Support supplier onboarding, governance and compliance requirements.
• Work alongside project, commercial and operational teams to mitigate risk and ensure robust contractual arrangements.
• Identify and deliver cost-saving and value-creation initiatives across the supply chain.
• Champion supplier relationship management, innovation and best practice procurement processes.
