Job summary

Redline Group Ltd. is seeking a Procurement Manager to join their team in Lymington. This leadership role oversees the procurement function, develops the purchasing team and ensures a reliable, cost-effective supply chain across the business.

You will lead the procurement strategy, drive supplier performance, manage tenders and negotiations, and collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Sales and R&D to align with ISO9001 and legislation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' procurement experience within a manufacturing, engineering or aerospace environment.
• 2+ years' experience leading and developing procurement/purchasing teams.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management.
• Strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills.
• Good understanding of manufacturing supply chains and procurement best practice.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems; Syspro desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the Procurement team, setting KPIs and driving performance
• Manage end-to-end procurement including sourcing, tendering, negotiation and supplier management
• Ensure continuity of supply across materials, components and services
• Lead supplier escalations and resolve production-critical supply issues
• Develop sourcing strategies and deliver cost reduction initiatives
• Build strategic supplier relationships and negotiate pricing and commercial agreements
• Monitor supplier performance across quality, cost and delivery
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and develop alternative sourcing solutions
• Manage purchasing forecasts, orderbooks and inventory optimisation
• Drive continuous improvement across procurement processes and systems
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Sales and R&D teams
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, ISO9001 and relevant legislation
