Job summary

Roberts Mart & Co Ltd, a leading UK packaging manufacturer, is hiring a Procurement and Inventory Co-Ordinator to manage stock levels, purchase orders and supplier relationships to support production planning.

You will work on-site in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely delivery of materials, accurate data in the Radius system and continuous improvement of procurement processes to meet Sales and production needs.

Qualifications

• Proven procurement or purchasing experience
• Experience in multi-country procurement operations
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Excellent inventory management and planning system skills
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strategic thinking and planning
• Detail-oriented with cost control focus
• Ability to work solo or in a large team
• Flexibility and detail-orientation
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment
• Identify stock shortages to avoid production disruption
• Manage inventory issues, schedule changes and cancellations
• Place purchase orders and progress them in Radius
• Track demand and purchasing trends
• Ensure materials meet specifications and cost targets
• Procure general factory consumables
• Liaise with suppliers and resolve queries
• Verify supplier order acknowledgements against POs
• Prioritise orders by urgency and lead times
• Communicate delays to Sales and support quotations
• Maintain Radius data accuracy for due dates/ deliveries
• Expedite orders to meet delivery commitments
• Promote health and safety and teamwork values
