Job summary

Shaw Education Trust seeks a Procurement & Contracts Manager to lead procurement activities, manage contracts and leases, and monitor supplier performance across its schools. The role reports to the Director of Finance and offers hybrid working with travel to Trust sites.

The successful candidate will provide practical procurement advice, drive cost reduction, conduct spend analysis, and continuously improve procurement processes while visiting various Trust locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement and contract management.
• Ability to build relationships with colleagues and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement activity across the Trust
• Manage the Trust's contracts and leases register
• Monitor supplier performance
• Provide practical advice to schools and colleagues across the Trust
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency
• Carry out spend analysis and benchmarking
• Strengthen procurement processes through continuous improvement
• Visit Trust schools and other locations as required
