Job summary

Shaw Education Trust is seeking a Procurement & Contracts Manager to join the Finance team. You will drive value for money, coordinate procurement activities, manage contracts and leases, monitor supplier performance and provide practical guidance to schools across the Trust.

Location at SET Head Office with hybrid working; may require visits to Trust schools. The role emphasises governance, efficiency and strong supplier relationships to support our schools and children.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement and contract management.
• Attention to detail and strong relationship skills with schools and suppliers.
• Public sector or education procurement experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement activity across the Trust.
• Manage contracts and leases register; monitor supplier performance.
• Provide practical procurement advice to schools and colleagues.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Lead spend analysis, benchmarking and continuous improvement initiatives.
