Job summary

Aspire Adoption is seeking an experienced Post Adoption Support Team Manager to lead our regional team and deliver high-quality, child-centred services across our agency. You will oversee qualified social workers and family support practitioners to ensure statutory duties are met and outcomes for children and families are improved.

Qualifications

• We are looking for a qualified social worker with leadership experience.
• Knowledge of adoption legislation and safeguarding.
• Experience delivering post adoption and family support services.

Responsibilities

• Lead Post Adoption Support Team and Keeping in Touch Service to deliver high-quality services.
• Ensure statutory duties relating to adoption support are fulfilled within timescales.
• Provide professional supervision and staff development.
• Oversee assessments of adoption support needs and implement support plans.
• Manage complex cases and provide expert practitioner advice.
• Develop partnerships with local authorities, health, education and voluntary sector.
