Job summary

Environment Agency is seeking a Portfolio Risk Management Advisor to shape how risk management is delivered across the FCRM Portfolio, Programme and Projects. You will lead on identification, assessment and analysis of portfolio risks, advising senior leaders and embedding risk management approaches across programmes and projects.

Based in the UK with flexible base location, the role offers travel to London or Birmingham for in-person meetings and opportunities to strengthen risk maturity across

Qualifications

• Experience in portfolio, programme or project risk management.
• Ability to translate data into clear reports and insights for senior leaders.
• Collaborative across teams to promote a proactive risk culture.

Responsibilities

• Leading the identification and analysis of portfolio-level risks and emerging threats.
• Developing and embedding effective portfolio, programme and project risk management approaches.
• Providing expert risk management advice and guidance to programme and project teams.
• Supporting governance and assurance activities through risk analysis and reporting.
• Driving improvements in risk management capability, tools, processes and ways of working.
• Building strong relationships across the FCRM portfolio to promote a proactive risk culture.
