Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Portfolio Execution Director for the National Grid Account, based in Stafford, United Kingdom. You will oversee a portfolio of energy infrastructure projects, coordinating delivery across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning to meet customer commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading portfolios, programmes or multiple major projects.
• Strong knowledge of high-voltage transmission or large-scale EPC projects.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Set and lead the execution strategy across the National Grid portfolio.
• Build trusted senior relationships with National Grid stakeholders.
• Drive portfolio governance with clear visibility of performance, risks and dependencies.
• Align cross-functional teams across project management, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Identify and remove systemic delivery barriers and resource constraints.
• Strengthen execution capability by adopting best practices and consistent methodologies.
• Support project leadership with senior intervention when needed.
• Develop portfolio-level approaches to resources and suppliers.
• Create organisational synergy by sharing learning across teams.
• Promote continuous improvement using portfolio insights.
