Ofgem is seeking an experienced Policy Principal to join the Chief of Staff's Office, working directly with the CEO and Chair on the UK's energy policy agenda. You will shape responses to major regulatory priorities, test policy thinking, identify risks, and coordinate cross-team delivery to ensure strategic alignment and impact.

Qualifications

• Experience in Government and policy roles.
• Experience in Regulatory organisations.
• Experience in Energy companies.
• Experience in Strategic consultancy.
• Experience in Executive or CEO office environments.

Responsabilités

• Provide policy advice, challenge, coordination and delivery support to the CEO and Chair on major organisational and regulatory priorities.
• Test policy thinking, identify risks and trade-offs, and ensure programmes are robust and aligned with leadership priorities.
• Unblock complex issues, coordinate action across teams and maintain momentum on high-profile strategic priorities.
