Sentry in East Anglia seeks a senior planning professional to drive the Land and Property division forward, focusing on developing and delivering planning and development advice. You will provide planning expertise across the business and support colleagues, including mentoring when appropriate.

You will identify and win new business in planning, development and diversification, and support existing clients to grow their businesses through strategic planning and broader property advice.

Qualifications

• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning, Planning, Surveying or another relevant discipline.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to continued professional development and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of planning legislation and policy.

Responsabilités

• Lead and advise clients on planning applications, development opportunities and alternative income streams.
• Prepare, manage and advise on Permitted Development applications, full planning applications, pre-application enquiries and general development matters.
• Provide planning appraisals, site assessments and advice on development potential and planning strategy.
• Liaise and negotiate with Local Planning Authorities, statutory consultees, agents, technical consultants and other stakeholders.
• Assist with travel to client sites around East Anglia and beyond as required.
