Job description

AXA Partners is looking for a Strategic Planning Officer who will play a crucial role in translating our global strategy into actionable plans. If you're passionate about strategy execution, project management, and making a difference, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Contribute to the execution of our global strategy and develop strategic plans for successful implementation.
  2. Support the creation of a comprehensive change plan, addressing both hard and soft aspects needed for transition.
  3. Proactively identify and manage risks, dependencies, and challenges that might impact strategy execution.
  4. Transform the defined strategic plan into modular programs and projects for effective execution.
  5. Ensure the right project organization and methodologies are in place, including RACI and agile frameworks.
  6. Collaborate with teams across AXA Partners globally, including Country Managers and CIO teams, to validate plans and secure buy-in.
  7. Set up and manage governance structures (steering committees, operational committees) to track implementation progress.
  8. Propose budget allocations and resource requirements, working closely with IT teams for coordinated efforts.
  9. Monitor the progress of portfolio projects, report to stakeholders, and recommend corrective actions when needed.
  10. Identify conflicts and facilitate decision-making, escalating to the Executive Committee for major issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
  1. 5-10 years of experience in consulting or a corporate environment.
  2. Strong strategic insights and financial analytics skills.
  3. Ability to thrive in an international and matrixed organization.
  4. A proactive mindset with a knack for smart problem-solving.
  5. Excellent communication, presentation, and engagement skills for discussions with senior management.
  6. Strong relationship management abilities, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders at all levels.
  7. Proficiency in creating compelling documents and presentations.
