The Bank of England seeks a Manager for Performance and Evaluation to enhance strategic planning and delivery of change initiatives. This role involves developing frameworks for performance evaluation and collaborating with senior management to ensure effective resource utilization and stakeholder engagement.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager – Performance and Evaluation to join our new team for a 12 month FTC. This role sits within the Change and Planning directorate which was established in 2024.The Directorate works in partnership with stakeholders across the bank to deliver the bank’s strategic priorities through effective strategic planning and prioritisation, portfolio planning and assurance, and the successful delivery of change initiatives.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Manager – Performance and Evaluation, leadership, and cross-functional teams, to develop and implement a consistent cross-organisational approach to performance and evaluationthat supports the organisation in robustly measuring what it is achieving and supports the Bank in optimal uses of resources and evidencing delivery of value for money. You will have excellent management and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach, strong analytical skills and a passion for problem-solving, alongside the ability to think critically and creatively about business challenges. You will be instrumental in identifying opportunities and informing and supporting strategic decision-making at all levels of the organisation.

Salary and Benefits Information
We encourage flexible working, part time working and job share arrangements. Part time salary and benefits will be on a pro-rated basis as appropriate.
This role offers a salary of Leeds: £59,520 - £66,960 and London: £66,160 - £74,43. In addition, we also offer a comprehensive benefits package as detailed below:
