Job description
Overview

The remit of the team covers Corporate and Market strategy agendas. You will drive strategic financial planning for the Group and be involved in global market strategies by framing strategic questions to drive aligned and thorough answers. You will report to the Strategic Planning Director to deliver the group 3-year financial plan, and collaborate with the broader Strategy team on corporate strategy, market and global category strategies, and functional transformation projects.

Responsibilities
  • Drive strategic financial planning for the Group across Corporate and Market strategy agendas.
  • Frame strategic questions to drive aligned and thorough answers for global market strategies.
  • Bring constructive challenge to top management and deliver outcomes while building alignment and understanding of the strategy across the senior leadership team.
  • Report to the Strategic Planning Director and collaborate with the broader Strategy team on corporate strategy, market and global category strategies, and functional transformation projects.
  • Work on projects across the full end-to-end value chain, from global D2C platform visions to market commercial strategies, to supply chain efficiency and financial planning.

What we're looking for
  • Analytical: highly numerate and able to design and deliver key analysis for strategic modelling; able to combine analytical thinking with commercial skills.
  • Positivity: capable of navigating ambiguity and answering tough questions with energy, courage, and optimism. 3+ years' experience in analytical financial roles.
  • High strategic ability with a passion for consumer, shopper, customer, competitor and marketplace insight.
  • High organizational agility to navigate a sophisticated organization.
  • Strong commercial instinct with a "commercial first" mentality.
