SALARY: £59,850pa to £73,150pa plus an extensive benefits package.
LOCATION: Bristol. Edinburgh, Leeds , Halifax or Chester.
HOURS: 35 hours, full time.
WORKING PATTERN : Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, at one of the above the listed hub s .

As a Strategic Planning & Insights Manager you’ll play a pivotal role in connecting customer insights, business goals (both customer and product) and marketing planning into actionable strategies that drive commercial value. You’ll work with stakeholders across IP&E and wider BMX teams to design, set, and optimise the marketing plan for BMX.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values curiosity, creativity, and clarity. Your ability to triangulate data from multiple sources and translate it into strategic recommendations will be key to your success.
Key responsibilities
Contribute to the annual and quarterly planning process for BMX, including coordination of needs met contribution, value target setting, and reforecasting.
Understand evolving customer and product requirements and uncover commercial opportunities that should shape the strategic BMX plan.
Support BMX teams to ensure marketing investments align with customer priorities, product objectives , and overarching business goals.
Maintain a comprehensive view of marketing investment activities, identifying areas of underspend and opportunities for budget redeployment to maximize ROI.
Work closely with Insights, Planning & Effectiveness (IP&E) teams to leverage data, customer insights and customer opportunities to inform the BMX plan.
Translate complex data into clear, compelling stories that resonate with senior stakeholders.
Champion a culture of customer-centric thinking across the organization.
About you
Proven experience in a customer insight, marketing planning or strategy role within a marketing environment in financial services or another data-rich sector.
Commercially astute with a strategic mindset, understanding market dynamics and ideally understanding of the range and commercial drivers of products and services LBG provides to its Personal Customers.
Strong analytical and storytelling skills, with the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources and communicate insights clearly.
Curious, proactive, and adaptable—comfortable working in fast-paced, agile environments with multiple stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams) to create and present insight-driven content effectively.
