Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategically minded People Development Expert to join our Operations team. This role is ideal for a senior HR, Talent, or L&D professional who is passionate about developing others and shaping the future of people leadership. You will play a key role in delivering a prestigious, accredited development programme designed to support professionals working in or aspiring to senior HR and people development roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality learning experiences through workshops, coaching, and digital facilitation.
  • Support learners in applying strategic HR and people development concepts to real-world challenges.
  • Provide expert guidance and feedback to help learners achieve their professional development goals.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of programme content and delivery methods.
  • Use digital tools to enhance learner engagement and track progress.
  • Act as a mentor and role model, sharing insights from your own leadership experience.

Person Specification

Essential Experience

  • Held a senior HR or L&D role (e.g., HR Director, Head of Talent, Senior Business Partner).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic HR, talent management, or organisational development.
  • Proven experience in coaching, mentoring, or facilitating professional development.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience delivering accredited learning programmes.
  • Exposure to a wide range of HR disciplines including employee experience, EDI, people analytics, and organisational design.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • HR qualification at Level 5 or above.

Ideal:

  • Level 7 HR qualification (e.g., CIPD Level 7).
  • Chartered CIPD membership.
  • Teaching qualification (e.g., AET or equivalent).
  • Coaching qualification.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Familiar with PowerBI and digital engagement tools (e.g., Menti, Miro, Whiteboarding).
  • Strong facilitation and coaching skills.

Core Competencies

  • Strategic thinking and subject matter expertise across key HR domains.
  • Empathetic and active listener with excellent communication skills.
  • Skilled in goal-setting, feedback, and learner assessment.
  • Able to inspire, motivate, and challenge learners constructively.
