Job summary

QBE is seeking a Senior People Business Partner in London with a hybrid working arrangement. You will partner with executive leaders to shape workforce strategy, capability and future-focused workforce outcomes within QBE's Insurance function.

You will lead the Insurance PBP team, bring workforce insights to decisions, and drive change to respond to AI, technology and evolving business models while keeping human judgement and employee impact at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Significant experience operating as a senior HR leader partnering with Executive and senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver people strategies balancing business priorities and employee experience.
• Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills with the ability to provide constructive challenge.
• Experience leading organisational change, workforce planning, talent, succession and organisational effectiveness.
• Collaborative, cross-geography experience with Centres of Excellence and multiple teams.
• Data-driven approach using people insights, analytics and sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Executive leaders to influence strategy, priorities and operating-model decisions.
• Develop a forward-looking, multi-year workforce view aligned to business strategy and tech changes.
• Lead workforce and job-design conversations arising from AI, automation and tech investments.
• Ensure workforce implications are considered with business transformation and tech decisions.
• Coordinate the People agenda across the function, mobilising relevant expertise as needed.
• Champion employee engagement, capability development and experience improvements.
• Use people analytics to inform decisions and drive measurable outcomes.
• Lead organisational change and change management across initiatives.
• Facilitate talent and succession discussions and diverse talent pipelines.
• Provide trusted advice on organisational design, performance, leadership and onboarding.
• Develop Insurance PBP team and promote consistent standards of practice.
• Contribute to wider PBP community leadership and capability development.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and People colleagues.
