Job summary

London Wildlife Trust is seeking a Head of Partnerships and Philanthropy to lead and grow our fundraising portfolio. This hybrid role involves developing a strategy across corporate partnerships, trusts, foundations and major donors, while guiding a small team to build five-, six-figure funding relationships.

You will work closely with the Director of Development and Trustees to shape proposals, report on impact, and steward supporters across a diverse revenue mix to protect London's wildlife

Qualifications

• Significant experience in high-value fundraising disciplines (major donors, corporate partnerships, trusts/foundations).
• Proven ability to secure five- and six-figure gifts.
• Excellent relationship-building with senior stakeholders such as CEOs, funders and trustees.

Responsibilities

• Lead partnerships and philanthropy strategy to secure multi-year funding.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of prospects across major gifts, corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations.
• Personally manage a portfolio of high-value donors and funders with five- or six-figure gifts.
• Create tailored funding propositions aligned with strategic priorities and impact.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to open doors and secure high-value funding.
• Oversee stewardship activities and transparent impact reporting.
