Job Description:

Business Development Representative (United Kingdom, Hybrid)

Telent is looking for a new addition to the Sales & Marketing team as part of the Network Services division. We are seeking a driven, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking Business Development Representative to join our team and help build and develop relationships within the Emergency Services, Public Sector, Government, Utilities, and Nuclear sectors. This role involves working through a Telent training plan and collaborating with our Warwick and Camberley offices at least one day per week, alternating weekly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of Telent, our offerings, and the markets we operate in to educate prospects.
  • Support the sales pipeline by researching target accounts and stakeholders.
  • Create and coordinate campaigns for prospect accounts based on territory research.
  • Perform targeted outreach via calls, emails, social media, and creative efforts to generate interest and sell our services.
  • Follow up on inbound leads, converting them into meetings and new business opportunities.
  • Analyze and report weekly activities and pipeline efforts.

Candidate Profile:

We seek resilient, driven, self-motivated candidates with relevant sales experience, especially outbound sales, and the ability to generate new leads. Experience in other industries is welcomed. A university degree or equivalent and some office experience are preferred.
