As a Strategic Partner Manager, you will be responsible for managing the account of one of our Tier 1 Partners, WH Smith. You will oversee the commercial aspects of the partnership, ensuring mutual viability, and lead all contract discussions and negotiations.
You will be the expert voice within the business for all matters related to WH Smith, understanding product category specifics, industry landscapes, and trends. You will develop detailed partnership business plans to ensure delivery, growth, and collaboration. Staying informed about industry developments, you will identify opportunities to maximize remuneration and implement cross-sell and upsell strategies to increase mutual benefits.
You will communicate the strategic direction clearly and consistently both internally and externally, representing the Strategic Partnership team as an advocate.

To succeed, you should have experience managing a Tier 1 Partner or similar large account. Additionally, you will need:
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong understanding of retail, ideally with partners
• Experience in contract negotiation and management
• High-level B2B relationship management skills
