Job summary

Associ8 Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Procurement Packaging Manager to lead packaging category strategy across primary, secondary and tertiary packaging.

You will own a significant packaging spend portfolio and drive value through supplier partnerships and commercially astute sourcing. In this role you will negotiate high-value supplier agreements, manage relationships with manufacturing partners and collaborate with NPD, Operations and Sustainability teams to deliver cost savings and innovative

Qualifications

• Proven experience within Procurement, Strategic Sourcing or Category Management.
• Strong background managing packaging categories within manufacturing, FMCG, food, consumer goods or related sectors.
• Experience negotiating high-value supplier agreements and delivering cost-saving initiatives.
• Commercially focused with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and supplier relationship-building skills.
• Understanding of packaging materials, manufacturing processes and market dynamics.
• Experience driving sustainability and innovation projects would be advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies across primary, secondary and tertiary packaging categories.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, service, innovation and value are consistently delivered.
• Lead contract negotiations and commercial discussions to achieve cost savings and favourable terms.
• Identify opportunities to improve supply chain resilience and mitigate procurement risks.
• Monitor market trends, commodity movements and industry developments to inform sourcing decisions.
• Collaborate closely with NPD, Operations, Technical, Sustainability and Supply Chain teams.
• Support packaging innovation projects from concept through to implementation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and deliver measurable cost efficiencies.
• Ensure supplier compliance with quality, environmental and ethical sourcing standards.
• Manage procurement budgets and report on supplier performance and spend analysis.
