Job summary

Venture Global LNG is seeking an Operations Projects, Planner to develop and maintain project schedules for multiple facilities. This role reports to the Operations team and supports business studies or process development initiatives.

The position is located in Cameron, LA. Responsibilities include leading planning exercises, ensuring integrated, resource-loaded schedules, and developing management reports with KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in LNG project engineering and/or construction
• 3+ years of experience
• Demonstrated success in proactively improving processes and systems
• Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization and with individuals and groups from different disciplines, industries and governmental agencies
• Organized planning skills, able to manage multiple activities and programs in timely fashion and with a high degree of accuracy, able to meet work deadlines
• Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
• Computer knowledge including Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Access, Project and PowerPoint
• Specific expertise with Microsoft Project

Responsibilities

• Lead planning exercises and maintain project schedules for Operations
• Apply appropriate planning and scheduling functionality to support project controls activities
• Assist operations team in resolving cost, schedule, and changes
• Establish and maintain standard reporting format for management reports
• Review schedules for detail and structure to ensure effective progress monitoring
• Ensure schedules are integrated and resource-loaded for accuracy
• Ensure compliance with industry procedures and practices
• Set up, implement, and maintain schedule-related KPIs
• Obtain data on progress, logic, and manpower from operations/plant personnel
• Conduct schedule review meetings and develop alternatives to accommodate changes and communicate deviations
