Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) invites applications for a Senior Operational Leader within the Counter Fraud and Compliance Directorate. You will model senior management leadership, drive flexible, personalised delivery of customer service, quality and performance, and lead a geographically diverse team.

You will oversee policy implementation, risk management, and continuous improvement, working with senior colleagues across government to achieve strong outcomes while upholding DWP

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience
• Ability to drive performance and manage large teams
• Experience in policy implementation and change management
• Strong collaboration across government departments
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Responsabilités

• Report directly to Grade 6 and manage a large, geographically diverse team of SEOs
• Make complex decisions quickly and with initiative
• Lead performance reviews and drive continuous improvement
• Oversee the implementation and embedding of new policies and procedures
• Build strong collaborative relationships with senior counterparts across government
• Provide visible leadership through regular site visits and clear communications
• Motivate teams to operate flexibly and personalise customer service
• Encourage cross-team collaboration to drive innovation and service improvements
• Contribute to people planning and deployment of resources
• Lead design of new business roles and processes to improve customer experience
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and legislative frameworks
