Job summary

The Rokos School of Government (RSG) at the University of Cambridge seeks a Business Operations Manager to lead the establishment and rapid scaling of our new centre of excellence. You will design and implement core structures and systems to ensure delivery, and guide the Dean in setting strategic priorities.

You will recruit and lead the Professional Services team, build external partnerships, and drive a five-year growth plan for education, research programmes, staffing and resources.

Qualifications

• Degree level education or equivalent, with strong strategic and financial planning capabilities.
• Proven leadership of professional services or admin teams and complex operations.
• Experience advising senior leaders and building external partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of RSG's core structures, systems and delivery.
• Design, recruit and lead the Professional Services team.
• Advise the Dean on strategic priorities and external relationships.
• Drive five-year growth plans including education, research, staffing and resources.
• Provide effective financial planning and budget management in a devolved environment.
