Location: South West (Multiple Locations) – Hybrid Working

We are looking for an outstanding leader to join a dynamic and forward-thinking Executive Team within a newly established organisation in the South West.

This is a unique opportunity for a visionary professional with a strong track record in both Education and Social Care. As Strategic Operations Director, you will play a key role in shaping service delivery, driving innovation, and ensuring exceptional standards across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the CEO and Executive Team to design and implement forward-looking strategies.
  • Set and track key performance indicators across education and care services, ensuring measurable impact.
  • Lead a robust quality assurance framework, maintaining compliance with Ofsted, CQC, and safeguarding standards.
  • Oversee budgets, allocate resources effectively, and manage strategic development projects.
  • Drive service innovation and identify opportunities for sustainable growth and improvement.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with commissioners, local authorities, education providers, families, and internal teams.
  • Represent the organisation at sector events and key stakeholder forums.

About You:

  • A minimum of 5 years' senior leadership experience in education and/or social care settings.
  • Proven ability to lead strategic and operational change across complex service environments.
  • In-depth understanding of regulatory frameworks, including Ofsted and CQC requirements.
