Job summary

Salford City Council is seeking an OD Consultant to join the HR & OD team at an important time for the organisation. You will support change projects across the council, turning plans into practical activity and helping people understand, feel confident and engage with change.

You will design workshops, learning activities, communications and guidance to support managers and staff. A strong organiser with collaborative approach will thrive in this role within our values-led service.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting people through change and turning complex information into practical support.
• Experience designing and delivering workshops, learning activities, communications or guidance to help people engage with change.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently within priorities, escalating risks when needed.

Responsibilities

• Support a range of change projects and organisational development activity across the council.
• Turn change plans into practical activities such as workshops, learning and development and guidance.
• Design and facilitate engaging learning for managers and induction activities.
• Develop and coordinate our employee volunteering programme and strengthen community connections.
