Job summary

Salford City Council is seeking an OD Consultant to join the HR & OD team at an important time. You will support a range of change projects, helping people, managers and services understand, shape and feel confident through change.

You will work alongside HR & OD colleagues to turn change plans into practical activity, including engagement, workshops, learning and development, and guidance on new systems or ways of working. Strong collaborators who enjoy building relationships will thrive.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting people through change in an organisational setting.
• Ability to turn complex information into clear, accessible guidance and practical support.
• Experience designing and delivering workshops and learning activities, and producing communications.

Responsibilities

• Support a varied programme of change and organisational development projects across the council.
• Design and facilitate workshops and learning activities for managers at all levels; contribute to induction activities.
• Develop and coordinate the employee volunteering programme and demonstrate social value.
