Job summary

DPD Group UK is seeking a financially astute leader to guide the Network Finance Team. You will spearhead high-visibility projects across depots, partnering with Head Office and regional leadership to translate data into strategic actions.

You will champion governance, drive efficiency, and mentor a distributed team, ensuring robust reporting and commercial integrity across the network. A UK driving licence and travel are required.

Qualifications

• Fully Qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA or CIMA with 3+ years post-qualified experience.
• Strategic business partnering with operational stakeholders to drive commercial decisions.
• Operational curiosity and a passion for understanding business operations beyond the spreadsheet.
• Culture add with a positive, proactive attitude to the team.
• Proficiency in Google Reporting Suite and Excel; BI tools desirable.

Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Own and deliver key business projects from inception to completion, cross-functional with Head Office and operations.
• Strategic Commercial Partnership: Advise Head of Regions and Associate Director of Network on cost-saving levers and initiatives.
• Financial Leadership & Governance: Improve and standardise financial processes, planning and forecasting across the Network.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team with a culture of collaboration.
• Process Transformation: Review and redesign reporting processes to enable agile decision-making and new controls.
• Collaborative Alignment: Align with the wider Finance function to ensure consistent goals.
• Operational Integration: Attend operational shifts to understand cost drivers and influence performance.
