Job summary

DPD UK is seeking a financially astute leader to spearhead strategic projects across our depot network. You will partner with regional leaders to translate complex data into actionable strategy and governance, ensuring robust controls and scalable reporting.

You will drive cross-functional collaboration, mentor a team of finance professionals, and champion commercial integrity while supporting nationwide growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA or CIMA and 3+ years post-qualified experience.
• Track record of influencing operational stakeholders to drive decisions.
• Willingness to travel UK and stay away overnight when required.

Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: own and deliver key business projects from inception to completion with cross-functional teams.
• Strategic Commercial Partnership: advise Head of Regions and Associate Director and lead network-wide initiatives.
• Financial Leadership & Governance: improve and standardise reporting, planning and forecasting across the network.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
• Process Transformation: review and redesign reporting to enable agile decision-making.
