Job summary

QVC UK is seeking an Assistant Merchandiser (Non-Live Planner) to support cross-channel merchandising and drive commercial performance across non-live channels. The role involves scheduling, product planning and airtime optimisation, working on onsite and offsite collaboration to maximise sales and viewer engagement.

You will create schedules, select products with stock and forecast data, prepare running orders, and monitor performance to identify opportunities.

Qualifications

Experience in retail merchandising/planning or stock control at assistant level.
Strong analytical and numerical skills using data and sales trends to guide decisions.
Excellent organisation and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Strong communication and ability to work cross-functionally with planning, programming and platforms teams.
Experience with Excel and planning or sales systems.

Responsibilities

Create and manage daily, weekly and monthly non-live programming schedules to maximise sales, engagement and category performance.
Select products and build show line-ups using stock, forecasts and commercial insight for effective mix and sequence.
Prepare show running orders and schedule content in relevant systems with accurate programme and airtime planning.
Monitor performance on a £ per minute basis and adjust schedules based on analysis, stock flow and opportunities.
Collaborate with Planning, Programming, Platforms and other teams to align schedules and support events.
Analyse sales, stock and programme performance data to identify opportunities and risks for business reviews.
Review category mix and channel output to ensure schedules deliver a strong customer experience while meeting commercial targets.
