Job summary

CMR Surgical Ltd. in the United Kingdom is seeking a procurement professional to manage suppliers and optimise our sourcing for complex medical device components. This role is hybrid, with a minimum of three days per week in the office (two days in Ely and one in Cambridge).

You will drive end-to-end sourcing, work with tech, regulatory and marketing teams, and deliver cost savings while maintaining supply and strong vendor partnerships.

Qualifications

• Extensive procurement experience in technical manufacturing and medical devices.
• Experience with PCBA contract manufacturers and device manufacturers.
• Experience improving internal purchasing processes with AI and automation.
• Willingness to travel globally and work across functions.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage allocated suppliers and commodities.
• End-to-end sourcing: market analysis, negotiating, contracting, supplier management.
• Collaborate with technology, regulatory and marketing to translate needs into sourcing plans.
• Optimise procurement processes, using automated systems and AI where appropriate.
• Maintain relationships with external vendors and track cost savings.
• Ensure on-time supply and accurate inventory levels; report metrics.
