Foodrise Ltd is seeking a Media and Communications Manager to lead all aspects of our communications, develop a media and PR strategy, and raise the profile of our campaigns on climate, nature and justice.

The role involves managing relationships with journalists, overseeing digital channels, coordinating with colleagues, and ensuring brand guardianship across campaigns with a commitment to anti-oppressive practice.

Responsibilities

• Develop media and communications strategy to meet new strategic objectives.
• Build relationships with journalists and social media professionals.
• Identify and develop hooks and stories to pitch to the media.
• Draft media materials including pitch documents, press releases and Q&A documents.
• Oversee our social media channels and ensure communications reflect Foodrise’s work.
• Manage sub-contractors as necessary to deliver high-quality content.
