Job summary

MTrec Ltd Technical is seeking a Materials and Production Planner to develop and optimise planning processes and organise production to meet demand. You’ll plan and schedule goods and materials, ensuring a steady supply and on‑time delivery.

You will assess stock, liaise with suppliers, and input production data while collaborating with Purchasing to meet the production schedule. Strong organisation and ERP experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Production procedures optimisation experience.
• Excellent organisational skills and results‑driven attitude.
• Strong communication and computer skills.
• Experience in manufacturing environment.
• Experience in end‑to‑end process and related roles.
• Knowledge of production planning, purchasing and quality control.
• Experience in MRP and ERP systems.
• Proficient with MS Office; statistics aptitude.
• Shows initiative and problem‑solving ability.
• Awareness of ISO 9001 and GMP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve planning processes and organise production to meet demand.
• Plan and schedule goods and materials to ensure steady supply.
• Create production plans, prioritise demand and liaise with departments.
• Assess stock levels and maintain stock targets.
• Communicate daily any issues affecting production schedule.
• Generate timely stock figures and KPI reports.
• Develop relationships with suppliers and manage supplier performance.
• Ensure availability of plant and materials for on‑time production.
• Input production information accurately and update spreadsheets.
• Inform Purchasing Officer of requirements to meet schedule.
• Determine manpower, equipment and materials to cover demand.
• Obtain output information and report on performance.
• Collaborate with departments to close operational gaps.
• Move product to Warehouse in line with orders.
