Job summary

Babcock Devonport site is seeking a Material and Inventory Planner to ensure materials are available at the right time, keeping critical operations running smoothly.

You will work at the heart of production and supply chain, driving continuous improvement and collaborating with project teams. This full-time role offers 35 hours per week on site in Devonport and a salary of £28,300 to £35,400 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory planning and control techniques.
• Strong analytical, planning and organisational skills.
• Proactive with ownership and issue resolution.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage material requirements through SAP and systems.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure material availability.
• Collaborate with project, production and supply chain teams for short to long-term planning.
• Identify and mitigate supply risks while optimising inventory value.
• Drive continuous improvement of planning processes and data quality.
