Job summary

Essity is seeking a Market Access Manager to drive growth across Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. You will lead market access and reimbursement activities, build high-value Health Board partnerships, and influence decision-makers to improve patient access.

Working with PAMA, Marketing, Sales and Commercial Development, you’ll develop strategic plans that create measurable business impact across the devolved nations.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the devolved nations health and social care market.
• Strong commercial awareness.
• Ability to write business cases, project briefs and gain engagement with key stakeholders.
• A track record of delivering innovative solutions to internal and external business groups.
• Best in class planning and leadership capabilities.
• Proven experience of operating in a Healthcare Partnership capacity and driving value.
• Excellent presentation, communication and project management skills.
• PRINCE2 qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead market access and reimbursement activities across the devolved nations, developing and delivering strategic Health Board account plans.
• Influencing healthcare decision-makers and Key Opinion Leaders to improve patient access.
• Partner across teams to deliver pricing, evidence and market access initiatives and build strong stakeholder relationships to drive sustainable growth.
• You'll collaborate with Health Boards, procurement teams, medicines management leads, clinical decision-makers, government stakeholders and Key Opinion Leaders, while working closely with Sales, Marketing, Clinical, Tender and Contracts and Market Access colleagues.
• You will navigate complex healthcare systems and decision-making pathways, expanding Essity's presence across the devolved nations, whilst aligning internal and external stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions.
