Job summary

IPS Finance is supporting an established manufacturing business in the Market Weighton area to appoint a Financial Controller. You will lead the finance function, drive month-end close, and provide commercial insight to senior management.

You will manage a small finance team, own group reporting and budgeting, analyse costs and margins, and ensure robust financial controls and ERP driven reporting.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with experience in manufacturing or engineering.
• Background in an SME, subsidiary or divisional finance environment.
• Experience reporting into a wider group structure.
• Strong ERP systems experience and excellent Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a small finance team.
• Own month-end and group reporting.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and cash flow.
• Analyse manufacturing costs, margins and operational performance.
• Maintain strong financial controls and balance sheet integrity.
• Use ERP data to improve financial and operational reporting.
• Coordinate year-end audit and external reporting requirements.
