Job summary

Howco Irvine is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with a focus on estimating and cost analysis. You will manage BOM structures, coordinate with procurement, and prepare quotations for machined parts and complex bills of materials using EFACS ERP.

The role requires experience in manufacturing engineering with the ability to liaise with sales and production to ensure accurate estimates and timely responses to RFQs. Applicants should be self-motivated and capable of meeting demanding deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing engineering and cost estimation.
• Exposure to BOM management and manufacturing planning.
• Ability to collaborate with Sales/Manufacturing for quotes.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Parts Master and BOM structures.
• Generate quotations for machined parts and BOMs.
• Coordinate RFQs and supplier pricing for subcontracts.
• Ensure quality and compliance with specifications during quoting.
• Attend internal meetings and meet RFQ deadlines.
