Job summary

Atlas NextWave is seeking a Management Accountant to deliver high-quality, timely financial information for board reporting and strategic decision-making. The role covers cost analysis, journal posting, margin review, balance sheet oversight, FX accounting and tax support.

You will also contribute to data governance, budget control, year-end processes and quarterly reporting for potential bond refinancing. Strong communication and collaborative skills are essential.

Qualifications

• A recognised accounting qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Ability to learn systems quickly and develop reporting requirements.
• Experience across multi-functional teams is essential.
• Practical, hands-on approach and willingness to support others.
• Excellent communication skills with operational and corporate colleagues.
• Curious and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of corporate costs and identification of opportunities to save/streamline.
• Prepare and post journals including lease accounting, payroll, intercompany interest and funding, month-end accruals/prepayments.
• Gross margin analysis and commentary on deviations against plan for month and YTD; project accounting reconciliation.
• Balance sheet review and sign-off; identify aged items and follow-up actions.
• FX accounting; ensure correct postings across the income statement.
• Administrator for Data Rails, including budget responsibility and year-end template roll-over and reconciliation.
• Audit and tax compliance support.
• Preparing statutory accounts for one legal entity.
• Support refinancing with potential bonds listed on Oslo BORS; provide quarterly audited reporting.
• Participation in business improvement initiatives.
