Qualifications

• Qualified CCAB/CIMA member with full membership.
• Significant and recent management accounting experience.
• Up to date with current accounting issues and practical accounting knowledge.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with large ERP systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience building relationships with senior managers and budget holders.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Experience leading a team and staff management.

Responsibilities

• Lead budget setting process and provide direction to Finance Officers.
• Manage month-end processes and ensure timeliness and accuracy.
• Prepare high-quality monthly budget monitoring reports.
• Coordinate statutory returns and ad-hoc data requests.
• Provide guidance on workforce planning reconciliation and pay accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and timescales.
• Manage the team and develop staff; deputise for Senior MA.
• Act as BI champion for management accounting reporting.
